Executive Leadership Retreats in Houston
Lead with clarity. Work better together.
Professional leadership coaching, exceptional food and practical habits for the demands of leadership.
At The Luxury Tree House, Chef Robbie Rensel and a professional leadership coach bring your team together to practice communication, listening, delegation and decision-making. Food, beverage, mindfulness and movement connect the learning to the way you work and live.
Choose a one-day workshop or a two- or three-day retreat, customized around your team’s objectives.
Discover how your team leads under pressure.
How clearly do you communicate when time is short? Do you delegate or take over? Whose ideas get heard when the plan changes?
Professional coaching helps your team examine these patterns and choose specific behaviors to practice.
In our two- and three-day retreats, an Iron Chef cooking challenge brings those dynamics into focus. Your team plans, divides responsibilities and makes decisions together. Afterward, your leadership coach guides a conversation connecting what happened in the kitchen to what happens at work.
The three-day retreat includes a collaborative three-course cooking capstone: another opportunity to clarify roles, listen, coordinate and adapt, then share the meal you created.
No culinary experience is required.
Practical ways to care for the person doing the leading.
Dedicated learning sessions combine instruction, guided practice and personal application. Food and beverage are woven throughout, connecting leadership with choices you make every day.
Make eating well easier to sustain.
Enjoy protein- and fiber-rich breakfasts built around lower-glycemic ingredients, followed by lunches centered on lean proteins and vegetables.
Learn the processes behind the meals through planning sessions, preparation classes and culinary skills practice. Explore versatile ingredients and routines that make eating well manageable through busy workdays, travel and client entertaining.
Choose what’s in your glass with intention.
Explore coffee, tea, coffee alternatives, hydration and drinks for different moments in your day. Taste infused waters and alcohol-free options you can prepare at home or order when dining out.
Discuss thoughtful choices around cocktails, wine and beer, including serving size, pacing and food pairing during client dinners and social occasions.
Make space to think before you respond.
A mindfulness and meditation coach introduces guided meditation, journaling and personal affirmation exercises.
Practice recognizing tension and underlying worry, listening more fully and pausing before a difficult conversation or decision. Explore what you habitually reach for during demanding moments, with nourishing snacks and beverage alternatives to try.
Build habits around your actual schedule.
Learn practical stretching and gentle movement for desk work, meetings and travel. Recognize physical signs of pressure and practice ways to pause before your next conversation.
Explore daytime sleepiness and preparing for better sleep, including breaks, daylight, caffeine choices and an evening wind-down routine.
A thoughtful balance of learning and enjoyment.
A short juicing demonstration offers a refreshing break. A longer knife-skills class gives you time to develop a useful skill. Chef-prepared meals let you relax and connect with your colleagues.
The retreat moves between coaching, seated discussion, tastings, demonstrations and hands-on practice, with space to reflect and recharge. Movement can be adapted to your comfort level.
The goal is to make these practices enjoyable and manageable enough to continue at home.
